Why Women Live Longer Than Men

Why do women live longer than men?
Doctor Mike wouldn¹t venture a guess;
If he knows he didn¹t tell us,
It just might be that they wear a dress.

That women are far more beautiful--
In this there is no debate;
Men can¹t help but love them
And there¹s no woman they could ever hate.

They do rest in between their children--
Is this why they live so long?
Perhaps they eat less chocolate
And often break out in song.

This has always been a mystery
(Why women live longer than men);
I sometimes think it¹s like chickens,
For they kill roosters before the hens.

Can we really hope for an answer
To this age-old mystery of life?
As yet I¹ve not found the answer,
So I think I will ask my wife.
